Team Harmony

Team harmony refers to the unity, closeness, cohesiveness, absence of conflict, and supportiveness among members of a team (Burke & Eccles, 2019). One study by Prapavessis and Carron (1997) found that fostering team harmony, which was described as teammates supporting one another, was identified by cricket players as a team norm (i.e., a behavior expected from all team members). In sports, group cohesion is central to many team building approaches, and strategies aimed at improving team cohesion could be used to enhance team harmony (Prapavessis et al., 1996)
