Self-Help Interventions

Self-help interventions are ways for people to get psychological support on their own, without having to see a professional (Hardy & Bellomo, 2019). They can be in the form of books, videos, or even websites. These interventions have been shown to help with conditions like depression, anxiety, and even work-related stress (Hardy & Bellomo, 2019). They can also help people become more active and exercise more. However, not all self-help interventions are created equal, and some might work better for certain people than others (Hardy & Bellomo, 2019). It’s important to find the right one and use it properly for the best results.
