Psychology of Sport and Exercise

Psychology of Sport and Exercise (PSE) is a journal about the way our minds work when it comes to sports and physical activity. It is the official journal of the European Federation of Sport Psychology (FEPSAC) and is published every two months by Elsevier. The journal publishes about 100 to 150 papers each year, but only after they go through a careful review process to make sure they are high-quality. In fact, more than 80% of the papers get rejected. The published articles share the results of scientific research, reviews of previous studies, and commentaries on topics that are interesting to the readers of the journal. The articles can be about all sorts of sports and physical activities, and the researchers use different methods to study them, like surveys and interviews. All the articles have to follow ethical guidelines to make sure the research is done properly. Sometimes the articles can be read for free online. The journal is known for its quality and is listed in important databases like PsycINFO and Scopus. It started in the year 2000 and has become very popular in the field of sport psychology.
