The way in which we deal with incoming information. In Bottom-Up processing, we bring in information through our senses, and lose some along the way because we either don’t register everything clearly or our attention filters out some data and highlights others. Top-Down processing occurs when our brain organizes information into categories we have created, so it will have a meaning we have assigned to it.
